  • They are a fully independent IFA based in a stunning barn conversion on the outskirts of Guildford. They work in a very collaborative approach with every client’s plan carefully considered and researched thoroughly.
  • There is full flexibility on working a hybrid model – they just ask that employees come in on a Wednesday as this is the Paraplanner and Admin day together. They also have a company meeting on a Monday once a month too.
  • For anyone keen to be in the office, although the option for 4 days from home is there, many choose to be in more, so the option for more time in the office is available if preferred
  • They also offer flexible working with start times between 8am-10am
  • Full admin support is also provided, to leave the paraplanners to focus on the technical support aspects
  • Exam support and study support and the opportunity to progress into advising if this is of interest are all on offer as well
  • 23 x days holiday + Bank Hols and discretionary bonuses

 

About the role:

Anyone with experience or exposure of paraplanning such as Bond Surrenders, High

risk products EIS/VCT/Structured Products would be highly desirable. Equally the

training and development here is fantastic, and you will be working closely with very

technical paraplanners, so the chance to learn and develop technical aspects is

there. They will also happily train and develop any senior administrator, who has

worked closely with paraplanners and has some exposure and understanding and is

looking for that step into a more technical role.

      • 5+ years’ experience in an IFA administration role
      • Sound technical knowledge covering pensions and investments, ISAs, bonds, trusts and protection
      • Demonstrable experience of delivering client service at the highest level
      • Experience of using Transact, iO or equivalent system to perform an administrative role
      • Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Excel
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
      • Sufficient understanding of the needs of Financial Services teams, FCA rules and compliances in order to effectively carry out the role
